In the last International of the year Brits’ Tommy Searle and Max Anstie stole the show in the MX2 class at Hawkstone Park yesterday.

Riding for the CLS Kawasaki team Searle put in a faultless performance, showing a clean pair of heels to the following pack as he consistently posted fastest lap after fastest lap on his way to a pair of convincing wins. In the Superfinal, a race which sees MX2 riders start 4 seconds ahead of the MX1 boys, it was again all about young Tommy-Gun until his bike developed a small problem leaving the door open for CLS team mate Max Anstie to pilot his KXF-250 onto the top step ahead of Steve Ramon and Shaun Simpson.
Tommy Searle: “I felt easy and comfortable in Hawkstone where I posted fast laps to lead the MX2 class twice. It could have been a perfect day as I was also leading the Super Final - our bike is amazing and I feel ready for the GPs now. We have one more race next week in France, it will be great preparation for us.”
The MX1 class saw two fantastic battles between Suzuki’s Clement Desalle and TM Racing’s Tanel Leok, with Belgian Desalle edging out the “Estonian Express” in both outings, and Desalle’s team mate Steve Ramon taking the third step on the box.
The CLS Kawasaki team will be making the trip to Hawkstone once again on the 27th & 28th August for round 5 of the Red Bull Pro Nationals series, so if you want to see Max and Tommy in action, get online, get those tickets booked and come enjoy the show.
